Yesterday, Pauline took our German international students, along with Yui from Japan, on an unforgettable day trip to Hobbiton! It was a fantastic journey into the heart of Middle-earth, full of sightseeing, fun, and wonderful memories.
Throughout the trip, everyone had an absolute blast exploring the iconic Shire. Pauline was especially impressed by the students’ commitment to practising their language skills—they spent the entire day chatting away with each other in English! Seeing everyone from different corners of the world connect and communicate so fluently was truly a highlight of the outing.
To wrap up a wonderful day, the group gathered at the Green Dragon Tavern in Hobbiton to relax and toast to their adventures with a cup of the famously delicious special brew ginger beer. It was the perfect, refreshing end to a magical day out!
